The State Chamber Orchestra headed by Maestro Evgeny Bushkov planned to take a walk in Spain.
“Spanish suite” by Albenis will take you through eight cities and regions of this country through ancient dances and songs. (corranda, serenade, Sevillana, saeta, segedilla, etc.).
In the suite by Nin y Castellanos, Spain will appear in the gallery of female images (“Girl from Murcia”, “Girl from Catalana”, “Andalusian”).
The history and soul of Andalusia, the southernmost and sunniest region of Spain, will be revealed to us in music from Manuel de Falla’s ballet “Love, the Magician”. Created based on Gypsy, Moorish and old Spanish songs, this musical picture has been “holding captive” both performers and listeners for more than 100 years.
The legendary comedy of the classic of Spanish literature Lope de Vega “The Valencian Widow” (1619) will come to life in the music of Khachaturian, written for the production of Lenkom in 1940.
And, of course, it will not do without the virtuoso pieces of Sarasate, the famous Spanish violinist and composer.
Come, it will be hot!
