Arkhangelskaya Yulia (piano)

Yulia Arkhangelskaya is a soloist with the Belarusian State Philharmonic and a teacher in the special piano department of the Republican Gymnasium-College of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. She is a graduate of the Republican Gymnasium-College of the Belarusian State Academy of Music (class of N.I.Tashchilina and E.V.Luzan), the Belarusian State Academy of Music (class of Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor Yu.N.Gildyuk), and completed her postgraduate studies under the supervision of Yu.N.Gildyuk and O.P.Savitskaya.

She is a laureate and diploma recipient of international competitions, including the International Chopin Piano Competition (Szafarnia, Poland, 2002, diploma), KlavierMusik (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2004, 1st prize), the Vainiunas International International Competition (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2006, 2nd Prize), Music Project (Moscow, Russia, 2023, 1st Prize), the Gitsba International Competition (Sukhumi, Russia, 2023, 3rd Prize, Piano Duet category), the Avramkova International Competition (St.Petersburg, Russia, 2024, 2nd Prize, Piano Duet category). The pianist’s solo concerts are held both domestically and internationally in concert halls in Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Poland, and China.

She serves on the jury of children's and youth regional, national, and international competitions.

Since 2021, she has been the organizer and presenter of the “Childhood Years of Favorite Composers” concert series at the Belarusian State Philharmonic, which has included over 20 concerts dedicated to the works of great composers from different eras and countries, including the annual traditional concerts of Belarusian music. Students and ensembles from various educational institutions across Belarus performed in these concerts, giving them the opportunity to express their creative talents at the best concert venue in our country.

Yulia Arkhangelskaya is the author and performer of several concert projects: “Musical Moment” (September 2023), “New Year’s Tchaikovsky” (December 2024), “Lilac Branch” (February 2024), “Teacher & Student” (May 2025), “Dialogues” (October 2025), and others.

The pianist’s extensive repertoire includes works by Romantic composers and French Impressionists. Her performing style is distinguished by a broad palette of colors and emotions. A profound understanding of the composer's creative vision is embodied in a vibrant artistic performance that leaves an unforgettable impression on the listeners.
