On November 23, the Small Hall n.a. G.Shirma will host the Gala Concert of the Ist International Harp Festival-Competition “On the Harp Strings” accompanied by the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus, the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the direction of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Evgeny Bushkov.
The International Harp Festival-Competition “On the Harp Strings” invites Belarusian spectators to a unique concert of harp music, where the most striking works for harp will be performed accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Two parts of the concert will represent a reflection of eras. The Gala Concert program will include works by G.F.Handel, W.A.Mozart, P.Tchaikovsky, C.Debussy and M.Ravel. The best harpists from Russia and Belarus will demonstrate harp performing art accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Soloists:
Lyudmila Frolkova – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, soloist of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic, awarded the badge “For Contribution to Culture” (Russia);
Larisa Lasotskaya (flute) – Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, recipient of the Francysk Skaryna Medal, leading stage master of the symphony orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus (accompanist of the flute group);
Maria Fedorova – associate professor of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I.Tchaikovsky, laureate of international competitions (Russia);
Veronika Grabovskaya – accompanist of the harp group of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus, laureate of international competitions, artistic director of the 1st International Harp Festival-Competition “On the Harp Strings”;
Elizaveta Simonenko – soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, laureate of international competitions (Russia);
Marina Chudakova – artist of the Bolshoi Theatre orchestra, laureate of international competitions (Russia).
