Once upon a time, concerts of students of the famous Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society were not uncommon and were held regularly. These concerts were a wonderful reference point for many teachers and young musicians, and served as a platform for the exchange of creative and pedagogical experience.
All the more valuable today is the initiative of the Philharmonic Society for Children and Youth to invite three young, but already well-proven musicians to perform in Minsk in a chamber concert. The pianist Anastasia Klyuchereva, a student of the People’s Artist of the USSR M.S.Voskresensky, laureate of many international competitions, one of the brightest stars of the Central Music School, will perform the Seventh Sonata by S.Prokofiev. The cellist, a recent graduate of the school, now a 1st-year student of the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor A.N.Seleznev) – laureate of the “Constellation” competition, participant of the largest creative projects held by the St.Petersburg House of Music and the Sirius Educational Center, will play a solo from B. Asafiev’s ballet “The Fountain of Bakhchisarai” and “At the Fountain” by K. Davydov.
Two movements from the First Violin Partita by J.S.Bach will be performed Michelle Bushkova, who is well known to Minsk music lovers as a violinist and pianist, since she played her first concert with the orchestra on the stage of the Small Hall named after G.Shirma of the Belarusian State Philharmonic in 2010 at the age of 5! Since then, she has performed solo on both instruments and with orchestras at many music festivals in Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Switzerland, Israel, and the United States.
These young musicians have been playing in the ensemble for several years – their record is the Trio F.Mendelssohn was included in the anniversary DVD released for the 85th anniversary of the CMS in 2020. They also participated in the school’s concert in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In the concert on April 24 at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society in the second part, they will perform the monumental Trio “In Memory of the Great Artist” by P.Tchaikovsky.
