France is a country with a rich history, culture and traditions, world-famous architectural monuments, works of art, fashion and cuisine. The most famous bicycle race in the world takes place there, which everyone already knows. But few have heard that France is the birthplace of the modern school of playing the saxophone. And for this instrument, French composers have written many original works, which saxophonist Nikita Petrov and pianist Anna Bryleva will introduce to listeners on November 21, 2024. Their new concert program “Tour de France” is a kind of musical guide. Like the famous bicycle race that runs through all of France, the works presented in the concert will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of French music for the saxophone. The beauty of the melodies, the wide palette of sound colors, the charm of the harmonies and the inexhaustible energy of the rhythm will interest the widest range of listeners.
