Frank Sinatra is a musical legend of the 20th century, a movie star and idol of millions around the world, an artist of incredible charm and charisma. His velvety voice, filled with warmth and charm, continues to conquer hearts today, immersing listeners in the magic of music and the holiday of spring.
Inspired by the legacy of Sinatra, Moscow vocalist Dmitry Noskov, accompanied by a jazz quintet led by Ark Ovrutsky and the ensemble of soloists “Classic-Avant-garde” led by Lyudmila Kalinovskaya, will create a special festive atmosphere for you. The program will feature the most popular romantic spring compositions in new arrangements written by Ark Ovrutsky especially for the spring concert tour, such as “April in Paris”, “Spring in here”, “Come Rain Or Come Shine”, “Autumn in NYC”, “Embraceable You”, “Stardust”, “You Are Too Marvelous” and, of course, the immortal hits “New York, New York”, “My Way”, “Strangers in the Night” and many others.
The romantic spring program invites you on a wonderful journey through America in the 1950s and 1960s – a time when people were crazy about jazz, gathered in clubs and concert venues to personally shake hands with Frank Sinatra himself. Dmitry Noskov is a vocalist, composer, creator of countless phonograms for Russian pop stars, the author of music for more than fifty domestic blockbusters (“Kholop”, “Text”, “Hero”, “T-34”, “Salute-7”, “Attraction”, etc.), a nominee for the Golden Eagle 2019 award for best film music, a performer of jazz standards and his own original songs.
