On 30 November the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus (artistic director and chief conductor is Honored Artist of Russia Yevgeny Bushkov) will begin a subscription cycle of concerts “Three evenings with the Chamber Orchestra”.

The subscription “Three evenings with the Chamber Orchestra” of the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus will give listeners an opportunity to touch different musical worlds: classic and modern, romanticism and minimalism will intertwine in them; and the binding thread between them is a violin.

The cycle of 24 Caprices by Niccolo Paganini is a masterpiece of the virtuoso genre and will be performed in the first concert (November, 30) accompanied by the accompaniment of a string orchestra created by the Lithuanian composer Gintaras Kuprevicius. He managed to turn the famous music into a fundamentally new work of art, which had never before sounded in the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. The soloist is the Honoured Artist of Russia Graf Murzha, chief conductor is Yevgeny Bushkov.

In the second concert of the subscription (February, 8) the central event will be the premiere performance of the famous sonata "Kreutzer" by Ludwig van Beethoven with a string orchestra. The outstanding Belgian violinist Mark Bushkov will perform as the soloist and the conductor. Together with the brilliant pianist Katya Skanavi they will perform a rare Felix Mendelssohn Double Concerto.

In the third programme (April, 4) the audience will immerse in the music of Anglo-American minimalism. Belarusian premieres of works by Adams, Finnis and Glass will be performed together with the amazingly beautiful and hyper-famous work of Vaughan Williams “The Lark Ascending”. The young British conductor Robert Ames will make his debut with the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. Galya Bisengalieva (England-Kazakhstan) and concertmaster of the orchestra Oleg Podov will be soloists of the programme.

important to stress that the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus is the only one collective of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society which continues to develop the oldest in the academic art tradition of evening subscriptions. This tradition leads its history from the 90s of the XVII century, when first in Italy, then in France, Germany and Austria, the court nobility began to lease loges. Later, since the 18th century, subscriptions also appeared on individual armchairs (seats) in the stalls. At the present moment the tradition of subscription continues to evolve around the world, in such leading theaters and concert halls as La Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, Berlin Philharmonic and others. Many subscriptions are followed by real "hunt": they have a developed circle of loyal followers-melomaniacs. The holders of these subscriptions are assigned permanent seats in the hall and they do not change from year to year. Thus, when buying a subscription, viewers express their trust and support to their beloved collective.

It’s important to stress that it’s much more profitable to buy a subscription of the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus for three concerts (27-45 rubles) than buying tickets for each concert separately.
