On June 2, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus invites music lovers to the final, third concert of the orchestra's program cycle in the Small hall named after G.Shirma of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.

This season, the idea of the cycle was to present the genres of serenade and divertimento in concerts. The audience warmly received the popular serenades of W.A.Mozart, A.Dvorak, P.Tchaikovsky, E.Elgar.

The concert program on June 2 will feature a rarely performed Divertimento by Josef Suk, a Czech composer of the late XIX – early XX century. Amazing in beauty, the music is written for strings, it uses all the immense possibilities of performers on bowed instruments.

Another rarity of this evening is Antonin Dvorak’s Rondo for cello and orchestra, in which the young performer Lada Malinovskaya will make her debut.

The works of Czech composers will be performed in the second part under the direction of Alexander Anisimov.

And the first part is given to the brilliant music of Mozart. His Symphony No.38 (“Prague”) was prepared by the young conductor Valeria Rybinskaya, who has repeatedly appeared on stage. And she was warmly received by the audience of the Small hall.

Traditionally, the programs of the Small hall are commented on by the chief conductor of the State Academic Symphony orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, People’s artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov. The June 2 program “Masterpieces of Classics” will be no exception.
