“CHAMPAGNE SPLASHES”
An evening of old, salon and gypsy romances, fiery dances, Argentine tango and Hungarian operetta
Beautiful music, the opportunity to sing along to familiar melodies, a warm atmosphere and charismatic artists will create an atmosphere of celebration and relaxation. The concert will feature such famous romances as “I Remember the Charming Sound of a Waltz” by K.Listov, “Friend-Guitar”, “Everything That Was”, “The Long Road” by B.Fomin, “Sparks of Fire” by L.Drizo, “In the Charms of the Starry Melody” by B.Podelsky to the verses of S.Yesenin, “The Shy Tea Rose” by D.Pokrass and P.German, “Horses-Beasts” and “The Black-Eyed Cossack Woman” by M.Blanter, “Enough, Falcon, Don’t Be Sad" by B. Fomin and many others. The delightful "Champagne Splashes" by H.M. de Lucchesi, “Libertango” and “Oblivion” by A. Piazzolla, performed on the bandoneon, and fiery vocal, dance and instrumental compositions by the Honored collective of the Republic of Belarus the Belarusian State Folk Music Ensemble “Svyata” will create a truly festive mood.
A Hungarian note will be added to “Splashes of Champagne” by “Maritsa’s Song” by I.Kalman and “Danko” by J.Brahms. Argentine tango will give fire.
Our concert will be decorated by the wonderful compere, showman and artist of the original genre Alexander Boborykin in the image of Alexander Vertinsky.
Romances are performed by the opera and concert singer, laureate of the international competition Yulia Kazimirovich (mezzo-soprano), she is accompanied by Lyubov Goleva (piano). The concert also features the soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, Andrei Sivakov (bandoneon).
