“Children Sing Jazz” is an author’s project, the purpose of which is to exchange experience and skills between outstanding professional jazz musicians of our country and young talented performers. For five years, on June 1, we have been inviting viewers to this festival of music, in which children who are passionate about jazz, winners of international and national competitions and festivals, and participants in the international jazz projects “Jazz for Children” and “Minsk Winter Jazz” take part.
The program will feature compositions from the repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald, George Benson, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea and other performers. For the first time, the National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I.Zhinovich, performed by viewers will be able to hear unique arrangements of world-famous and beloved jazz compositions.
