On October 22, a grand gala concert dedicated to the work of the outstanding Armenian composer, pianist and teacher, People's Artist of the USSR Arno Harutyunovich Babajanyan, a classic of Soviet song, the author of many popular and beloved hits, will take place on the stage of the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. Among them are “Beauty Queen”, “Thank you”, “Wedding”, “Take your time”, “Ferris Wheel”, “Give me back the music”, “The best city on earth”, “Nocturne”. These and many other melodies, which have become truly golden hits, will be performed accompanied by the National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I.Zhinovich. They will be performed by orchestra soloists - laureates of international competitions Igor Zadorozhny, Andrey Kolosov, Anastasia Rachitskaya and Natalya Bratslovskaya and invited artists, soloists of the Arno Babajanyan Memorial Foundation.
The author’s concert of composer Arno Babajanyan is the result of cooperation between the Arno Babajanyan Memorial Foundation, the BelBrand Association – the founder of the International Music Prize of the Eurasian Economic Union “BELBRAND AWARD” – and the Belarusian State Philharmonic.
