National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I.I.Zhinovich
Conductor – Alexander Vysotsky
Presenter – Olga Brilon
***
The concert repertoire of the National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I.I.Zhinovich features hundreds of pieces by Belarusian and foreign composers. Among them are rousing rhythms of Spain and Cuba, Argentina and Armenia, Irish and Jewish melodies, classics of European authors and, undoubtedly, favorite tunes of the native Belarus.
We invite you to the Big Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on October 12 for a two-hour long journey across countries and continents together with the orchestra.
The route of the journey is a pleasant surprise, which will be explained to you in detail and interestingly by the orchestra’s musicologist Olga Brilon during the concert programme.
