Opening of the International harp festival

“TWO CAPITALS. MINSK – MOSCOW”

On November 18 in the Small Hall named after G.Shirma will host the grand opening of the international harp festival “Two capitals. Minsk – Moscow” accompanied by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. Chief Conductor – People’s Artist of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Anissimov

The festival begins its history with a series of concerts held in the northern capital of Russia – St.Petersburg, and already in 2019 “Two Capitals” received international status, after performing concerts in the capital of Italy – Rome.

This year, the best artists from Russia will demonstrate harp performing art at the concert venues in our capital. The opening program of the festival will feature works by Handel, Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, Glier, Tournier, Rodrigo, Kikta, etc.

The soloists:

Natalia Shameeva – Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Art Worker of Russia, candidate of art history, from 1970 to 2003 – soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, currently she is professor at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music;

Lyudmila Frolkova – Honored Artist of Russia, soloist of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pavel Kogan;

Yankelika Sushkova-Irina – Director of the Maimonides Academy of the Kosygin Russian State University, candidate of cultural studies, Professor, Honorary worker of higher professional education;

Alexander Boldachev – founder of the Zurich Harp Festival, initiator of World Harp Day, artist of the Italian harp house “Salvi Harps”, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia;

Elizaveta Mernaya – soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, laureate of the 1st prize of the first international competition named after V.G.Dulova, winner of the RCM harp competition in London;

Nadezhda Sergeeva – the author of the idea and artistic director of the International Harp Festival “Two Capitals. Moscow – Minsk”, winner of the Moscow Government Prize, lecturer at the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, laureate of international competitions;

Elena Maksimova – soloist of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus;

Veronika Grabovskaya – artist of the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus, artistic director of the International Harp Festival “Two Capitals. Minsk – Moscow”, laureate of international competitions;

Ekaterina Zhuravleva – soloist of the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus;

Tatyana Emelyanova – soloist of the orchestra of the State Academic Symphony Capella of Russia, laureate of international competitions;

Alina Alekseeva – a laureate of international competitions, a scholarship holder of the Moscow government, a student of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.

The concert is attended by laureates of international competitions – Daria Mikulik, Olga Kraskovskaya, Stanislava Belova.
