“In a certain kingdom, in a certain state...”, “Once upon a time...” With these or similar words begins a fascinating journey to a country where animals talk, monsters turn into princes, and good triumphs over evil. On November 3, 2024, in the Small Hall named after G.Shirma of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, the famous Belarusian piano duet Natalia GROMOVA – Valery BOROVIKOV will present a truly fabulous program for children and adults. The pianists invite you to immerse yourself in the amazing, magical world of A. Pushkin’s fairy tales
In these tales, “on unknown paths” you can see "”traces of unseen animals”, meet an evil sorcerer and a good wizard, the dwarf Chernomor and the Swan Princess, thirty beautiful knights and their sea uncle... At the concert, you will hear not only the fairy tales of “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, “The Tale of Tsar Saltan”, but also how they sound on the piano in the music of M.Glinka and N.Rimsky-Korsakov
And the pianists will also tell and play “The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda”. The incredible adventures of the heroes of this fairy tale will come to life to the sounds of music by D.Shostakovich, V.Bibergan.
