Golden hits and hits of the Soviet stage, which were part of the repertoire of Muslim Magomayev and Anna German, performed by soloists of the National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I.Zhinovich Anastasia Rachitskaya and Igor Zadorozhny will sound as a tribute of respect and admiration for the work of two stars, whose names are still loved by millions of listeners.
Anna German and Muslim Magomaev are participants in the international song festival in the Polish city of Sopot. Anna German – in 1964 with the hit “Dancing Euridices”, and Muslim Magomaev in 1969 – with the legendary “Along Piterskaya Street.”
Anna German captivated audiences throughout Europe, became the first singer from the “socialist camp” to record a disc in Italy, and audiences in Poland and the Soviet Union literally carried her in their arms.
With his beautiful baritone, Muslim Magomayev conquered a huge country. He performed opera arias and pop hits with equal genius. Magomayev became famous at the age of 20, and already at 31 he became the youngest People’s Artist of the USSR in history, jumping over the step of People’s Artist of the Republic.
The best composers of our country wrote songs for German and Magomayev: Alexandra Pakhmutova, Arno Babajanyan, Oscar Feltsman, Evgeny Ptichkin. Their repertoire contains many intersections – for example, songs such as “Don’t Rush”, “Return of the Romance”, “Hope”, “Tenderness”, “Quiet Words of Love”, as well as a large number of Neapolitan and Italian songs that Anna also sang. and Muslim.
Unique artists, extraordinary destinies and most importantly – a magnificent repertoire!
The host of the concert is Olga Brilon.
