“THE CAT IN BOOTS”
musical performance for children (based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault)
On March 29 and 30, 2023 on the stage of the Small Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic the long-awaited PREMIERE of the musical-theatrical performance “The Cat in Boots” performed by artists of the Philharmonic for children and youth will take place.
The musical performance is based on the magical fairy tale by Charles Perrault, in which the Cat, thanks to his cleverness, cunning and wit, helped his master, the young son of an old miller, to become the rightful owner of a luxurious palace and marry a charming princess.
“The Cat in Boots” is a fascinating musical performance with dynamic colorful action. The fairy tale tells us that under no circumstances should we fall into despondency, and we must persevere and confidently pursue our goals and cherished dreams.
The charm of Charles Perrault’s tale and Cesar Cui’s music, full of tenderness, wit, and grace – this is the Philharmonic’s new production for children and young people. The audience will be treated to unusual stage directions, non-standard techniques and new creative discoveries. We invite to the premiere!
