Stars of the Russian piano school at a concert at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on October 6!

The Minsk public will be able to hear outstanding representatives of the young generation of Russian pianism (winners and laureates of the most prestigious world music competitions – named after P.Tchaikovsky, named after F.Busoni, named after V.Cliburn, named after V.Krainev, etc.) thanks to the Project “Russian Piano School. Masters and our future.”

Over the course of the year, the Project’s Board of Trustees, which included leading figures from the Russian academic scene, became acquainted with the work of young performers. The goal of the Project: to identify new talents and create musical content with their performances (currently the number of views of the Project’s videos has reached unimaginable numbers – more than 20 million!), as well as to provide opportunities to already experienced musicians and provide support in the implementation of their most daring creative initiatives.

The Project participants have already captivated the discerning Moscow public – four evenings were triumphantly held in the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and on October 23 and 24, 2023, two final meetings of young artists with true connoisseurs of piano art are planned at one of the most reputable concert venues peace.

It’s nice that the first off-site event of the Project will be a concert in Minsk: four of the brightest representatives of the “Russian Piano School”, Maria Belokopytova, Timofey Vladimirov, Eva Gevorgyan and Valentin Malinin, will perform on the stage of the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. The program includes masterpieces of Russian and Western European music.
