On February 2, 2024, a festive concert “Chinese New Year 2024” dedicated to the Spring Festival – one of the the most important holidays in Chinese culture, symbolizing reunification, harmony and beauty.
This evening, viewers will be able to enjoy the unique charm of Chinese culture and the festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. In a joyful and harmonious environment, Chinese compatriots in Belarus will feel the warmth of home, and the Belarusian audience will feel the richness and magic of Chinese cultural heritage.
Music is a universal language that transcends territorial boundaries, language and cultural barriers, penetrating into the very hearts of people. Carrying out such events helps strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries and is an excellent platform for a better understanding of Chinese culture and traditions.
The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the direction of conductor Yuri Karavaev and the Chinese musical ensemble “HUAXING” will perform traditional Chinese melodies, masterpieces of world musical art and works of Belarusian composers.
