On October 12, the Belarus State Philharmonic will host the second concert of the 2023/2024 season from the “Classics for Everyone” cycle of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.
The program includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 “Emperor” – one of the few of his creations that became widely known during the author's lifetime. Soloist – Head of the Special Piano Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, Associate Professor Vladimir Dulov.
For the first time in a long time, the soloist of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, laureate of international competitions Marina Novak, will perform in Minsk the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra of the Austrian Expressionist composer Alban Berg – one of the most spiritual and poetic works of the 20th century.
The concert program will conclude with Alexander Scriabin’s symphonic poem “Poem of Ecstasy” for which the composer was awarded the Prize n.a. M.Glinka. The trumpet solo will be performed by the soloist of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra, Evgeniy Misevich.
