JAZZ FOR CHILDREN: “CLASSICAL AND JAZZ”
On 30 October 2022, we present an original programme in which well-known classical works inspired by literary works are performed in an author's jazz manner, aimed at young listeners. And international jazz hits, known to almost everyone, will be performed in a classical style. We really want to show our young listeners how easy genius music can be and how great is the power of improvisation to reveal its elusive essence. This will probably be our most daring experiment to date! But we think you're going to love it!

“Jazz for Children” is:
– monthly author’s jazz concerts for children and their parents in the heart of Minsk on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society;
– each concert within the project is a thematic programme composed of well-known classical and jazz pieces in author’s arrangements, made especially for young listeners by a professional jazz band of Belarus – VIP Jazz of Andrey Slavinsky;
– the theme of each concert is children’s literature: we tell stories about books through music;
– “kid friendly atmosphere”: we welcome listeners of any age, even the youngest ones!
