Muslim Magomayev is an outstanding artist, Soviet, Azerbaijani and Russian pop and opera singer, composer. He is considered one of the best baritones in the world. The singer delighted the audience with his work in the 60s, 70s and 80s. The name of Muslim Magomayev was known to almost every inhabitant of a huge country. The popularity of the singer was incredible: his songs were constantly heard on radio and television. Concerts of M.Magomayev gathered thousands of stadiums, the singer's records were released in millions of copies. The artist's repertoire includes more than 600 works: arias, romances, pop songs. A great voice, a bright personality, national love, fame and a certain mystery…
Time, which constantly eludes us, sometimes returns. This is helped by the music that unites different generations. On June 16, 2021, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society invites the audience to the Small Hall named after G.Shirma for a concert dedicated to the People’s Artist of the USSR Muslim Magomayev “The Light of a Distant Star”.
Performed by laureates and diploma holders of international and national competitions, soloists of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society Dmitry Gaidukov, Maxim Obrovets, Dmitry Tunik, Tamara Remez, Svetlana Starodetko, Svetlana Evtukh and Valentina Dobrovolskaya will hear the best songs, ballads and arias from the repertoire of an outstanding artist – “Melody”, “Thank you”, “Ferris Wheel”, “Wedding”, “Don’t Rush”, “Beauty Queen”, “Oh, the Sea, the Sea” and many more popular songs and well-known arias and duets.
