“MUSIC THERAPY. CATHARSIS”

Dive into the depths of feelings through music and sound.

Catharsis is a moment of inner liberation. A state in which pent-up emotions, tension, and worries find a release and dissolve, giving way to clarity, silence, and a sense of renewal.

In music, catharsis is born gradually: through buildup, anticipation, internal dialogue, and, finally, an emotional breakthrough. It is not a sudden outburst, but a profound process—when sound helps one to experience what has long lingered within and gently release it.

Catharsis is transformation. A transition from chaos to order, from anxiety to acceptance, from inner noise to silence. At this moment, a person meets their true self—without masks, without tension, without the need to prove anything.

Music becomes a guide: it does not impose emotions, but creates a space in which each person experiences their own path. This is why catharsis is always individual—and always authentic.

After catharsis, a feeling of lightness, clarity, and inner balance remains. Like after a deep breath. Like returning home after a long journey.

The idea of Music Therapy is to correct a person’s state, from the initial to the modified state, through affirmations at the beginning of the program and reinforcement with music throughout. Through music and the sounds of sound therapy instruments, experiences, doubts, and even fears are worked through. The music and sounds are selected to ultimately evoke and reinforce positive emotions.

The main feature of the upcoming concert is undoubtedly the sound of the grand concert organ, one of the largest organs in the CIS, consisting of over 6,000 pipes. The sounds of the organ harmonize the psycho-emotional sphere and bring order to the mind. The organ is called a conductor of “space–earth–space” energy.

You will also hear the very rare sound of an orchestral gong. This unusual musical instrument is credited with having a healing effect on the body at the cellular level. Another unique feature of the concert will be the creation of a surround-sound effect thanks to the musical islands we will place throughout the hall. These islands will feature the most beneficial sound-therapeutic instruments for the body: singing bowls, karatals, koshi bells, chakraphones, and the sounds of rain and the ocean, among others.

This enchanting performance will take place by candlelight, with dim lighting, and for aesthetic pleasure, you will be able to watch a wonderful video sequence on the large screen featuring paintings by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and others, as well as endless views of space, flora, and fauna of our planet.

For complete immersion in the world of enchanting music, you can close your eyes and enjoy the music alone, or you can look at the stage and admire the art by candlelight, in addition to the sounds of the instruments.

For your comfort, please do not bring children under 12 years of age or anyone who might disturb the peace in the concert hall. It is also important not to be late for the concert, as this creates discomfort for both the performers and the audience.
