An outstanding soprano, the pride of the country, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus Nina Sharubina pays special attention to the romance genre.
The artist’s repertoire includes romances of different eras and genres. It was this side of Nina Sharubina’s creativity that prompted Yevgeny Bushkov, chief conductor of the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, to create an exclusive program that would combine vocal and instrumental romances with dance music. The concert, addressed to the widest audience, will feature a kind of handover of the creative baton from a highly experienced accomplished artist to the young brilliant cellist Polina Thai (Moscow), who is at the very beginning of her promising career. Works will be performed, many of which were arranged by the conductor specifically for this program, by such composers as E.Grieg, S.Rachmaninov, A.Dvorak, D.Shostakovich, D.Popper, J.Strauss, A.Piazzolla, as well as old romances for voice with accompaniment.
