“Zagorsky Quartet”, assembled by Alexei Zagorsky on the basis of soloists of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, June 6 in the Small Hall named after G.Shirma will present the audience with an academic program from the concerts of Antonio Vivaldi. The core of the new program is the most famous concert cycle of the Italian composer – “The Seasons” from opus 8 “The Controversy of Harmony and Invention” (“Il cimento dell’armonia e dell’inventione”, 1725). Also this evening there will be performances of Vivaldi’s rarely performed cello concertos and concerto for viola d’amore (arranged for viola) and orchestra, which were discovered in the composer’s legacy only in the 20th century and first published after the Second World War.
