On November 18, “Sisters from Paradise”, a musical and dramatic mystery by Valery Voronov, will be performed.

“Sisters from Paradise” will come to life in sounds and light – a unique multimedia rock space created by the composer. The sounding image of the mystery will be woven by a chamber orchestra, piano, organ, percussion instruments, electric guitar, as well as a human voice – Belarusian poet, actress, singer and theater director Svetlana Ben will voice the texts of Joseph Brodsky, Sophie Scholl, Simone Weil, her own compositions, excerpts from the interrogation protocols of Joan of Arc (1431), from the leaflets of the White Rose (1943).

The essay was written within the framework of the “composer-in-residence” project The State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.

Also this evening, old songs and dances for lute (suite III, transcription for orchestra) by O.Respighi and a Concerto d-moll for clavier and orchestra, soloist – Andrey Ivanov.
