CONCERT to the 75th Anniversary of the Minsk State Art College named after A.K.Glebov
The first department of the concert will bring together the best representatives of music and choreography of the capital – soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, students and teachers of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Republican Gymnasium-College at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium-College and choir collectives.
The presentation in the second department of the concert of a joint multimedia project of the jubilee with the State Chamber Orchestra of Belarus will make the concert unique. Performing the M.Musorgsky’s famous cycle “Pictures at an Exhibition” will be accompanied by the creation of picturesque paintings by Glebovka’s teachers. Thanks to the video projection the audience will be able to see the artistic process in real time. The idea of the project is also unusual in that the painting will be born as a result of “reverse translation”: Musorgsky’s music, composed under the impression of V.Hartmann’s exhibition, will itself become a source of inspiration for modern Belarusian artists.
