Anton Baranov is one of the most famous Russian guitarists. Winner of major international guitar competitions such as the International Competition named after F.Tarrega in Spain, International Competition of the Guitar Association of America. Competitive victories and prizes brought the musician fame and the opportunity to perform in the most prestigious halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Palau de la Musica in Valencia, the Centenary Hall of Peking University and other concert halls.
A special place in the musician’s repertoire is occupied by original works of the classical-romantic period and arrangements of music by P.Tchaikovsky, N.Rimsky-Korsakov, A.Lyadov, which Anton performs on a copy of the guitar of the 19th century.
This time the guitarist prepared a new solo program, consisting of arrangements of works by N.Paganini, F.Schubert, F.Chopin, P.Tchaikovsky. There will also be music by J.Brahms, A.Dvorak, E.Grieg arranged for two guitars. The famous Belarusian guitarist, laureate of international competitions Pavel Kukhta takes part in the concert.
