On October 27, 2017 a bright musical premiere the concert «Light of a distant star» will be in the Small Hall n.a. G. Shirma. The project is devoted to the 75 anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR Muslim MAGOMAYEV.
Muslim Magomayaev is an outstanding artist, Soviet, Azerbaijani and Russian pop and opera singer and composer. He is rightfully considered the best baritone of the world. The singer rejoiced the audience with his own work in the 60s, 70s and 80s. The name of the Muslim Magomayev was famous just about every inhabitant of a huge country. The singer's popularity was incredible: his songs were constantly heard on radio and television. The concerts of M. Magomayev collected thousands of stadiums; the singer's records were published in millions of copies. In his repertoire of over 600 works, among which are arias, romances, popular hits. Magnificent voice, excellent external data, national love, fame and a certain mystery...
Time, which constantly eludes us, sometimes comes back. This is helped by music that unites different generations. On 27 October the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society invites you to the amazing journey on the planet «Creativity of Muslim Magomayev ».
The soloists of the Philharmonic for children and youth, diploma winners and laureates of the national and international competitions Dmitry Gaydukov, Svetlana Starodetko, Tamara Remez, Vladislav Danilovich, Valentina Dobrovolskaya and Svetlana Evtuh will perform the best hits of Muslim Magomayev - «The melody», «Thank You» , « Observation wheel», «Wedding», «Don't hurry », «The queen of beauty », « Blue Eternity» and many other songs, as well as popular arias performed by the singer, including a duet with Tamara Sinyavskaya. The master of concert ceremonies is the musicologist Ekaterina Ogorodnikova. The laureate of the international competitions Sergey Voynitskiy will performs the pianoforte part.
